La Maddalena

La Maddalena Archipelago National Park is a geomarine protected area consisting of a group of islands situated in the north-east of the coast of Gallura, near the stretch of sea between Sardinia and Corsica, known as Bocche di Bonifacio.
These islands – except for La Maddalena Island housing the homonymous town and characterized by a significant human presence – are entirely deserted or scattered with small human settlements, like in Caprera and Santa Maria Islands. The Archipelago is part of the European network of areas of great environmental importance (Site of Community Importance and Special Protected Area) for the presence of habitats and creatures that seem to have come together to perform a unique show. The most famous Islands composing the Archipelago – Maddalena, Razzoli, Santa Maria and Budelli – will enchant you for their famous cristal emerald  water and their breathtaking views. The island of Caprera , connected to Maddalena through a bridge, will make you dream with his beautiful and typical beaches. Just relax sipping a glass of “Mirto”, a typical local liquor.

South Corsica

Rebel and amusing, relentless and seductive, Corsica is a jewel to discover that will enchant you for the beauty of its landscapes and the vitality of its culture. In the south of Corsica, you can’t miss to sail through Bonifacio, famous for its exotic cliff-top setting above layers of limestone carved by the strong straits winds and Lavezzi Archipelago that offers some challenging pilotage around the nature reserve, islets, rocks and lovely small anchorages. Your last stop will be Gulf of Porto-Vecchio, the biggest inlet with a marina, a brilliant turquoise bottom, lots of anchoring space, and some fine stretches of sand. As a break you can crunch some local breads like “Pain des morts”,cooked with raisins and nuts, and “Fugazzi”, delicius sweet biscuits cooked with orange and anise.
